A Frivolous Yet Earnest Theorist of Design

With a background in writing, initially exploring poetry and flash fiction, I bring a narrative depth to my designs.

I developed a particular affinity for designing items for print, relishing the tangible quality that elevates the sensory experience of holding art in one's hands.

However, I am not bound by tradition. While I cherish the ageless allure of print (and all its tactile wonder!), I embrace the ever-evolving field of digital design with sincerity. Engaging in the endless cycle of learning, I navigate the digital / cyber realm with curiosity and adaptability, humbly seeking to push the boundaries of my own creativity.

My work thus far is an ode to our human nature—imbued with the ethos of honoring what is often deemed insignificant, and infused with empathy and compassion. It is an appreciation for the delicate interplay between imperfection and symmetry. It has also, oddly enough, included a lot of cats and Edward Gorey characters.

(Noteworthy: I remain an annoyingly devotee of the color pink and Apercu Pro. A recent purchase of an old half-frame film camera has me chronicling beauty in my mundane. I yearn to design for the greater good; I’m patient and optimistic. I’m also self aware—a recovering “default-to-a-gradient-background” maker (but aren’t we all a work-in-progress?))
